Privacy Policy
Proofloom is designed to organize evidence locally on your iPhone. This policy explains what the app processes and what the developer receives.
Data the developer collects
Proofloom does not collect personal data, usage analytics, advertising identifiers, crash reports, imported files, recognized text, case titles, timelines, or generated packets from the app.
Proofloom does not require an account and does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
Data processed on your device
When you choose files, Proofloom copies supported originals into the app’s protected local storage. It may use Apple Vision to recognize text on your device. Recognized text remains a suggestion until you accept or reject it.
Proofloom creates packet PDFs on your device. SHA-256 fingerprints are one-way integrity values used to detect whether stored bytes changed; they are not proof of authenticity or legal admissibility.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple may process purchase and account information under Apple’s privacy policy. Proofloom receives verified product entitlement and transaction status from StoreKit; the developer does not operate a separate purchase server for version 1.0.
Biometrics and device authentication
If you enable App Lock, Proofloom asks iOS to authenticate the device owner. Face ID, Touch ID, and passcode data are handled by iOS and are not available to Proofloom.
Retention and deletion
Case data remains on the device until you delete the case in Proofloom, remove the app, or erase its app data through iOS. Sharing a generated PDF creates a copy in the destination you choose; that copy is controlled by the destination app or service.
Children
Proofloom is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.
Changes
If a future version introduces cloud services, accounts, analytics, or any new data collection, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before that behavior ships.
